DP Board Member Lisa Zambrano Honored at Windy City Woman of Color Awards Ceremony

Windy City Woman of Color honored Deborah’s Place Board member Lisa Zambrano at the 2nd Annual Windy City Woman Diamond Awards at Hotel Sax on November 13. Lisa Zambrano, Treasurer of the Deborah’s Place Board of Directors, received the Pioneer Award for her outstanding work in business and leadership as a woman of color.

Guests generously donated briefcases and handbags for the women of Deborah’s Place, and a portion of proceeds from the event’s silent auction were donated to further the Deborah’s Place mission.

Windy City Woman of Color is a forum for women to gain access to career advancement options, networking, and business opportunities. We are honored to be a part of the event and encourage all Deborah’s Place supporters to learn more about the organization.
