A Blast at the Bead Bash!

Over 100 guests partied the night away at the 7th Annual Deborah’s Place Mardi Gras Bead Bash on February 24th, 2009. Hosted by the Deborah’s Place Professional Auxiliary Board (PAB), the Bead Bash helped raise funds for the women of Deborah’s Place and end the cycle of homelessness for the women of Chicago.

Guests drank traditional New Orleans hurricanes, bid on the 25 silent auction items, and purchased raffle tickets for a chance to win round-trip airline tickets, among other prizes.

Our silent auction featured 25 items, including a customized cake from Vanille Patisserie, VIP tickets to a summer White Sox game, a one night stay in the Amalfi Hotel, and jewelry from K. Amato.

Thank you to the Professional Auxiliary Board members for their hard work on this event and continuing dedication to breaking the cycle of homelessness for women in Chicago!
