Group Volunteer Opportunities
Group Volunteers
We welcome groups that would like to be involved with Deborah’s Place on an ongoing basis, or for a one-time volunteer activity at one of our locations. Our staff can work with you to plan an event that meets your needs and ours. Small groups of volunteers can prepare and serve a monthly dinner at one of our residential facilities, work in one of our Learning Centers, or work on a special project in one of our programs. There are many tasks, including cleaning and painting projects, which larger groups can do on a monthly or quarterly basis. Depending on current needs, one-time volunteer groups might:
· Landscape at one of our program locations
· Host a holiday or bingo party
· Help with office work or mailings
· Take participants to the zoo or on an outing
· Prepare and serve lunch
· Play games in the Learning Center
