Volunteer Sign-up

The first step to volunteering at Deborah’s Place is to sign up below. If you have not yet read the descriptions of the volunteer opportunities that are available, please read about our Individual opportunities and Group opportunities.

A Deborah’s Place staff member will contact you within two weeks to arrange your first day of service. If you are not contacted within two weeks after signing up online, contact Sarah Letson.

On your first day you will be given a brief orientation and will fill out a volunteer application. Each time you volunteer, you will sign in so that we can keep track of your hours. Your volunteer hours translate to matched money for us from the federal government and other funders!

As a volunteer, you should keep in mind the core values of Deborah’s Place, especially those of building community through relationships and supporting an individual’s freedom to make choices.
