Expedited Housing Initiative
To help address the housing crisis that impacts thousands of people every year, Deborah’s Place has partnered with the City of Chicago through the Expedited Housing Initiative. The Expedited Housing Initiative is a Rapid Re-Housing program (RRH) – a time-limited housing intervention designed to assist individuals and families to quickly exit homelessness and return to permanent housing.

Program Impact
Learning Center Renovation
Over two years, our 1530 North Sedgwick location learning center and meeting room underwent a major renovation. This year, the transformation was completed with new cabinets, computers, plumbing, painting, furniture, and more for our residents to make the women feel safe and supported as they reach their goals.
