Intern Recruitment Process

Students interested in an internship at Deborah’s Place should submit their resume and cover letter to Camellia Lee at intern@deborahsplace.org.

When submitting your materials, ensure that your cover letter clearly states the types of experiences you are seeking in an internship. Examples of these experiences include research, case management, community health, community organizing, leadership, research, community practice, etc.

Once a student’s resume and cover letter are received, students will be sent a survey to better understand their skills and interests.  After the survey is completed, applicants’ resumes will be forwarded to supervisors within Deborah’s Place, who will schedule individual interviews with applicants. Interviews are not guaranteed, and are granted based on interest, fit, and qualifications.
